General advice for getting into the car wash and laundromat businesses

I've been thinking about getting into the car wash and/or laundromat businesses for a long time , which is why I'm interested in reading any sort of general advice about this topic out there .

Has anyone here ever run a car wash or laundromat ? What was it like ? Were these endeavors worth the effort overall or not ?


Also are there any worthwhile books or articles about this topic out there that anyone would like to recommend ?
