Advertising using company name thats abroad...

Hi,



I have noticed certain products being imported in my country with the name of a company in the UK or USA with an address written on it.... is that legal ??

Anyway to confirm the company exists ? How to go about doing the same thing if legal since it makes the product look premium if it has a USA OR UK company....
