There are so many places for reviews these days and none of the platforms can be integrated with each other. Between Google, Facebook, Linked In, Yelp, Angie's List and others we all know that online reviews can help tremendously, but you also have to be consistent so that people leave reviews in a concentrated area...or do you?
I personally feel that reviews are more credible when they are left somewhere that you can't manipulate. I remember having this conversation years ago on the old forum back before any of these review options existed or anyone knew about them. Then, everyone just put client testimonials and reviews on their website and I always questioned the credibility of them then.
Now there are too many options.
Of those of you who have reviews posted online, outside of your website, which platform do you find to be the most effective for you?
When asking for reviews where do you direct people to leave them?
