I represent The/Studio, a company launching a crowdfunded custom clothing called Democracy here in the early spring.
Inspired in part by Teespring, our crowdfunding project began with our desire to provide creative minds to more clothing options, more customization ability and the free design required to tie it all together. We're looking for beta testers to begin this week to try out the following our website, with the ability to launch custom clothes campaigns and make a profit. We provide:
1) Free design. We give users access to our trained designers; a customer can provide verbal or written description of their desired image and are entitled to free corrections until their image is as envisioned. Currently Teespringers must look to a website like fiver.com and others for professional design if they themselves aren't gifted in the area, but the process is still a little daunting to the first-time user. That design service also helps you take advantage of...
2) Enhance customization options. As a company which already makes custom fabric labels and patches of all manners, we have the capability to take t-shirts that could be designer t-shirts sold in stores (some of our customers do just that at their boutiques). Knowing we couldn't think of everything, we will be providing customers with a "description" text box where they can detail any options for their t-shirt that we've not provided, and within twenty-four hours we provide a quote for the product envisioned.
We're very excited to be bring this level of customization to market and reaching the artists who were turned off by Teespring's limited platform or the up-front costs of other websites. What we need are helpful folks like yourselves, willing to be beta-testers for us starting next week. You'll be among the first to see our website and have the chance to combine our customization powers with crowdfunding
We're really enthused about starting next February and would like some friends along for the inaugural ride, especially yourselves who have all been doing t-shirts longer than we have. Please PM me if you are interested in assisting us during this time by trying out a campaign or two with us.
Sincerely,
Matthew Eley
