legal fees for contractor agreement

Sorry if this is already covered somewhere. I've never dealt with a lawyer before (generally avoiding them like the plague) but now its time...
I need a solid contractor agreement that keeps my contractors from running off with my clients among other things. It's a tiny business with no outside funding so keeping the cost low is critical. What should I expect to pay to get this written out for me. What do I need to know or do before getting into this? I don't even know what type of lawyer to call for this type of thing. Anyone know of a good one in the Memphis area? All advice is welcome. Thanks!!
