Limited Liability Partnership

My business partner and I are looking into registering an LLP. I understand the process of registering for the business names, trade name, and as an LLP. The question I have is; Can we register as an LLP before a business is open, and before we have a business plan written up? We would like to register as an LLP ahead of time because we have done a lot of research, and it all leads to the fact that it is easier to get a business loan as an LLP or LLC. The information I can't find is if, in fact, the business loans that the LLPs are getting approved for are start-up businesses or not.



We are looking into purchasing an established business, and getting a loan for the down payment, and then using the seller financing that is available. We would feel more secure, obviously, if we were a registered LLP. Any information will be greatly appreciated!!
