Looking to buy into a business-don't know where to start

Hello,



I am currently a manager for a small, family owned contracting business. My uncle is the owner and we have had discussions in regards to me buying into the business. Unfortunately, this is where the discussions end. I was wondering if anyone had a general road map or a link that could help move to process forward. I know this is a fairly general question, but any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
