Terrified Diner Owner

Hi Everyone!



My name is Arlene. My boyfriend and I bought a diner and we are getting ready to open in about three weeks. Most of my questions are about taxes and accounting since those are my big responsibilities, but I also need information on general restaurant stuff that I'm clueless on. For example, I had a meeting with a major food distributor today and I feel more scared now than I did going into the meeting. Ugh! My boyfriend and I are not totally clueless to the restaurant world, but we are brand new to being owners.



Advice, thoughts, insights, prayers, suggestions on how to run now, anything would be appreciated.
