I can't get my tweets on twitter search

I have been posting regularly to twitter. The content is original. I have tried tweets with hashtag and without, with photos and without. Yet none of them are appearing in twitters search results. The tweets do go out to my followers, but it is hard to expand the number of followers without being in the search results.



Any suggestions?
